Requirements for Services
We serve caregivers, as well as elderly, or physically challenged neighbors, in need of non-medical assistance to continue living in their homes.
If you are
- residing in Tippecanoe County
- or you are a caregiver
we may assist with
- respite breaks
- caregiver support group
- grocery shopping
- errand running
- and transportation to necessary appointments
Volunteers usually assist once a week. The needs of those we serve and the number of volunteers determines the help we can give. Please note our volunteers are not professionally trained and should not assist with skilled care, medical duties or other things that require a certification, license or special training. If you require specialized or professional care, please refer to another local agency listed on the resources page.

Caregiver Support Group
Caregiver Companion facilitates a caregiver support group on the first Tuesday of every month from 1:30 pm until 3:15 pm. The meeting is held at St. Ann’s Church in the Joseph Behler Center at 612 Wabash Avenue, Lafayette, IN. The support group strives to create an atmosphere where caregivers can vent their frustrations and can find resources and connections to help alleviate their stress.
*The support group has yet to resume due to covid-19*
If you would like to learn more about joining our support group, please contact our office at email@example.com or call at 765-423-1879.
