Area IV

The Agency on Aging portion of the organization is mandated by the Federal Older Americans Act of 1965 to respond to the needs of aging adults and their caregivers as a way of helping them remain independent. It focuses on services and programs for the elderly and persons with disabilities of all ages by serving the counties of: Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Warren & White counties

Willowstone Family Services

Willowstone Family Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving Lafayette, Indiana. We were founded in 1964, and our service area includes the Greater Lafayette area, Tippecanoe and the seven surrounding counties. Our Mission is to “Empower families and individuals with life skills and knowledge—for achieving sustained self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.” We provide effective programs and services on prevention, intervention, and preservation. We educate individuals, provide support to families, and strengthen our community.

Their vision is to elevate in-home care and non-emergency transportation services standards by providing the highest quality of care and services, with integrity and commitment, and compassion and love.

Access Bus

The CityBus ACCESS Paratransit Service offers transportation to persons with disabilities that cannot use the regular bus services. You must apply to be screened for eligibility. Applications are available at the CityBus office or call them for an application. Services are offered on a first come first serve basis. You may schedule transportation as far as 14 days in advance and later than 24 hours in advance. They provide a curb to curb service. Anyone needing assistance to or from the curb must bring a companion with them. Please contact them directly for more information.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels of Greater Lafayette is a program of the Tippecanoe County Council on Aging, that strives to deliver affordable, nutritious meals right to the doorstep of our clients.

Midland Meals

A non-for profit organization that provides low cost meals to elderly in the community who are no longer able to cook for themselves.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross has been serving the people of Indiana for more than 100 years. Translate your care and concern for people down the street, across the country and around the world through our humanitarian work. 

Lafayette Senior Transport and Concierge

Lafayette Senior Transport and Concierge offers “door-through-door” service with personal assistance helping seniors out of their homes and through the door of their destination. We can even wait for you and drive you back home.
